Windows 7: Driver Update via Control Panel

  1. Click the Start Menu on your PC.
  2. Go to the "Control Panel".

  4. Before you will be a window in which all the equipment with which the PC interacts will be listed.
  5. Most likely, the device whose driver is obsolete will be marked with an exclamation mark.
  6. Point the cursor at the "tagged" device and click on it with the right mouse button.
  7. In the drop-down menu you will see the item "Update drivers" - we need it - we press it.
  8. After a while, installing the updatewill start automatically, you will now only need to wait for it to finish and restart the computer, after which the update will take effect.

Important! This method will work only if you have access to the network, otherwise the system will not find the required update.

Windows 7: Update drivers without access to the network

If you do not have the Internet on your computer, you need to proceed as follows:

  1. Follow steps 1-6 of the previous instruction.
  2. In the drop-down menu, select "Properties", then click the "Driver" tab.
  3. Now click the "Details" button - a window will appear in which you will see the name of the driver.
  4. Copy the name of the driver, find a PC with network access, download the driver and install it on your computer in manual mode.
