But what if you are not satisfied with the font settings in the operating system itself? Fortunately, it is possible to change the font in Windows 7 at the level of the main elements of the system (window titles, menus, icons), and in this article we'll show you how to do this.

Change the font size in Windows

If you are not satisfied with the size onlyfont on the screen, you can increase it. To do this, open the Start menu -> Control Panel and type the keyword "text" in the search box (without the quotes). In the search results, click on the link "Resizing text and other elements".

In the window that opens, you can immediately change the size andtext, and icons using the slider in the "Resize All Items" item. And if you are only interested in changing the font size, adjust it for each individual element using the drop-down menus in the "Changing text size only" option.

When finished, click "Apply". You may need to restart the computer to apply the changes.

Changing Fonts

If you want to not just change the size, butgenerally change the font in Windows, open the Control Panel and enter the keywords "window color" (without the quotes) in the search field. In the search results, click on the link "Changing the colors and metrics of the window".

A dialog box appears in which you canchange the font for almost all elements of the system. Consistently choose the necessary elements from the drop-down menu and set the font type, size, color and even bold or italic font for them. When you are finished, click OK. As you can see, changing the font on your computer is not at all difficult!
