So-called cookies, or cookies are files, stored by web sites when they visit. Basically, they are stored in your browser before the end of the session, i.e. before closing the browser. These files, cookies, not only help you to automatically authorize on sites, but sometimes are advertising messages or marketing elements. Therefore, many users treat cookies with suspicion and see in them a threat to the security of their PC and the risk of infection with computer viruses. Therefore, the only solution is to remove them. The task of how to delete cookies in each browser is simple, but it has its own nuances.

Opera

The settings of the browser itself are simple and with themit is not difficult to understand. In the general settings, the option "Accept cookies" is indicated. Opera saves your web navigation using these files automatically. You can reconfigure this option or see how to delete cookies. In the Opera you need to go to the "Settings" menu. You can initially set an option that blocks the saving of cookies. The "General Settings" tab has the "Advanced" tab. There choose the item "Cookies". Here you can set the option "Never accept cookies", because the files will simply not be saved.

But you can also delete cookies when exitingbrowser. It's better than not keeping them at all. Already accepted cookies will allow you to save navigation and will help to authorize on sites during the current session. There are two options. The first is to activate the option "Delete new cookies when exiting Opera". Then you will only have the most needed cookies. If you want to delete any cookies, you need to activate the option "Forcibly delete when you exit Opera."

Google Chrome

In this browser, the cookie is deleted along with the cache. You can do this with the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + Shift + Delete, where the dialog box appears. There from the list choose exactly that, namely "Clear the cache" and "Clear cookies and other data of sites and plug-ins", and click "Clear History". But this is just one way to remove cookies in chrome. The second way to delete cookies is solved using the settings of the browser itself. So in the Chrome panel select the "Settings" menu, where you select the "Show advanced settings" tab. There, open the "Clear History" tab, where you select the same two items for removing the cache and cookies.

Mozilla

One of the most popular browsers. And, how in Mozilla to remove the cookies? In the main menu of the browser, you must select the "Tools" menu, where you open the "Settings" tab. In this tab, select the "Privacy" option, where the "History" tab opens. This is where you need to activate the "Show Cookies" item. After that, the "Cookies" group becomes active, where you need to click the corresponding "Delete all cookies" button. Thus, the browser will stop remembering the navigation of the last sessions, and you will have to re-authorize.

Internet Explorer

Since this is one of the first browsers, management of its settings is as simple as possible. How to clear the cache or how to delete cookies in the Explorer is indicated in the settings. In these settings, select the "Security" menu, where you open the "Delete Browsing History" tab. In a newer version of the Explorer, this tab is called "Delete Browser Log". Next, you need to select "Cookies" or "Cookies", depending on the browser version, and click the "Delete" button.
