How to disperse the cooler?
Modern software products require allmore powerful hardware elements of the computer - processor, video card, large amounts of RAM, etc. Each of the elements has the property of basking, so cooling equipment is required for proper operation of the equipment. In most computers it is implemented with the help of coolers. It happens that their working power is not enough to fully cool the CPU and video card. The reason for this can be pollution. Accordingly, it is necessary to periodically clean the computer of dust. The second reason is that the cooler does not work at full capacity. Especially this applies to laptops, where the emphasis is on a longer battery life.
Below we will consider how to overclock the cooler on the processor and video card hardware and software.
Overclocking the cooler on the processor
Through BIOS
So, in order to disperse the cooler through the BIOS, it is necessary to do the following:
- When you start the PC, go to the BIOS.
- Select the Power tab.
- Go to the HW Monitor Configuration section.
- Open the CPU Q-Fan function.
- Select the speed mode of the cooler - Perfomance or Turbo.
Using Utilities
SpeedFan
This utility allows you to dynamically adjust the rotation speed of the cooler depending on the CPU temperature:
- AMD OverDrive for AMD processors;
- program Riva Tuner for Intel processors.
For instructions on how to overclock the cooler on a laptop using these programs, see How to increase the speed of the cooler.
Overclocking the cooler on the video card
You can use the Riva Tuner utility or its analogs (for example, Msi Afterburner) to outperform the cooler on the video card. You can download the program data from the site of utilities for NVidia or from the Msi website).
When performing any operations, we always recommend that you familiarize yourself with the instructions for your hardware, including the motherboard.
