To link a channel to Google+, click on itavatar (or standard square, if you do not have an avatar) in the upper right corner of the YouTube page, and then click on the gear icon. On the "Account Settings - General Information" page, click the "Advanced" link. On the page that opens, click the link "Link to a Google+ page" and select the "Create a new name" option. Enter a name for the channel and click "Next".
If your profile is already linked to Google+, it does not matteryou can change the name on YouTube. To do this, click on your avatar in the upper right corner of YouTube and click on the gear icon. On the "General Information" page that opens, click the "Edit on Google+" link. You will be redirected to the social network page with a form for changing the name. Finally, note that the name on Google+ can beto change not more often than once in 90 days, especially if you created your profile quite recently and already changed the name. Therefore, when choosing a new name, do not rush and carefully think over everything.
