How to change the password in Skype?

But sometimes it happens that the password is forgotten or just requires a replacement. In both of these cases, the password must be changed.

How to change the password in Skype?

If you are going to change the password because you forgot the old one, then you need to proceed as follows:

Go to the official recovery pagepassword at the following link: password recovery, enter the address of your e-mail to which the page is linked and click the "Send" button. Almost immediately on your mailbox will come a letter with a unique link to change the password. This link works for 6 hours. It is during this time that you must cross it. There you will be asked to enter your new password twice and click the "Change Password" button. Done! Now you can use your new password.

If you decide to protect your account from intruders and change the password in quiet mode, then follow the instructions:

Go to the menu item Skype (in the upper leftcorner), select the "Change Password" line. In the box that appears, enter your old password, then enter your new password twice and click Apply. If you did everything correctly, a window will appear informing you of the successful password change. The next time you log in, you will enter a new password!
