Pirelli Calendar 2017 became an anthem of natural beauty
Annual Pirelli calendar(Pirelli) was another surprise. Traditional bright release with beautiful naked or half-dressed supermodels and actresses, it seems, has gone down in history.
Last year's edition was a sensation whenwomen, singled out in the world of sports, business, art and other spheres took part in the photo session. This time photographed world famous actresses, but not young and not painted.
The shooting was conducted by the German master of photography Peter Lindbergh. This is his fourth work for Pirelli. Here's how the photographer himself described the new issue:
"This calendar is a translation of the individuality, sensuality and courage to be yourself ... We all know that in the world of haute couture it is common to retouch pictures of women, even those who can boast of real inner beauty. Actresses I shot for the calendar appeared on the covers of the most famous glossy magazines, but it's time to show that in life their beauty is a force much more powerful than on carefully processed pictures. Initially, the models of the Pirelli Calendar appeared completely naked in the photographs. Our action has also become a kind of exposure, because for many women from show business, it is much easier to take clothes off than to appear before the public in their natural appearance. We want to remind people what is the real beauty of a woman - the beauty of her mind, talent, individuality, the beauty of her courage to accept herself as she is. "
Posed for the calendar this year AliciaWikander, Helen Mirren, Penelope Cruz, Nicole Kidman, Kate Winslet, Julianne Moore, Rooney Mara, Jessica Chestane, Charlotte Rampling, Uma Thurman, Lea Seydou, Robin Wright, Zhang Ziyi, Lupita Niongo and Anastasia Ignatova.

Kate Winslet after the shooting said:
"I specifically asked Peter to take a picturemy hands, because now, when I'm forty, they do not look exactly the same as in my twenty or thirty years. I like to look at them. I want people to know what I really am. We are constantly trying to make ourselves look better, younger, fresh. But is it really unnatural - just look at your age? ".
