Beans can rightly be called the most usefulrepresentative of a family of leguminous plants. At the same time, both green and green beans are very unpretentious in growing a plant that can be found in both South America and Siberia. The most widely spread is the string bean, which today grows almost every gardener. Consider how to plant the beans to get a good harvest.

Soil and seed preparation

For the cultivation of almost all bean varietiesthe lightest drained soil with moderate humidity is best suited. To select the site for landing, it is better to stop at a place protected from the wind and warmed up. The land on which previously grown potatoes or cabbage, will do the best.

Since autumn, the selected site needs to be carefully anddig deep, make organic fertilizers, for example, superphosphate or potassium chloride. Immediately before planting, the soil should be dug again and fertilizer, rich in potassium and phosphorus, humus or manure for feeding.

Bean seeds before planting are necessarypre-soak for 3-4 hours, so that sprouts appear faster. After this, the seeds are treated with a solution of potassium permanganate for 10 minutes and only after that they are ready for planting.

Planting seeds

Seed is planted when the temperatureair keeps at least 15 degrees, otherwise plants can die. Bean seeds are recommended to plant to a depth of 2 cm, in several bands with an interval of 30 cm. Between the plants should also leave an interval of 20-30 cm.
