Running simple node
The easiest way to tie a loop is in the middle of the cable, and at the end. Make a ring from the rope and stretch a loop into it, as in the picture:
Oak Loop
This is the simplest and most reliable way to do it.loop. Take the rope and wrap one end of it, folding a small piece in half. Now hold in the fist the place where the end of the rope is adjacent to the other (long) part. With your right hand, grasp the fold and wrap a double rope around it, holding the fold in the ring. Thus, you will get a knotted double knot, one end of which is a loop, and the other - a small tail and a long part of the rope.
The minus of this loop is that its size can not be increased or decreased - it will be the same as you tied it. In addition, if the assembly is tightened tightly, then it will be problematic to untie it.
Eskimo loop
If you need a loop, the size of which can be adjusted or tightened, then use a movable loop.
To do it, first take the rope inthe left hand so that its long end is at the bottom and the top is a length of 20-30 cm. Now, with your right hand, grab the end of this small piece and wrap it with a rope so that the end is not on the top (in the ring), but from the bottom. Now it is necessary to pass the end into the formed small loop at the base, where you just wrapped the end. To the end of the rope did not go, wrap it again around the main rope and tie it.
Pulling the long end of the rope, you can adjust the size of the loop or tighten it. If you pull to the end, then this loop quickly and easily untied.
Minus this loop - it is not strong. Therefore, there is a more complex, but at the same time more powerful way of how to properly make a loop.
Hinge loop
Take the rope to the left hand so that the topthere was a long (non-working) end of the rope. Now make the work ends two zigzag-shaped strokes, as in the figure. As a result, you should get two uncommitted loops: one from above, the other from below. The working end of the rope should again be below. Now wrap the working end of the rope as tight as possible along the spiral around the resulting three in the upward direction. When a very small tip is left, thread it into the upper loop. Now pull the lower part to tighten the resulting knot.
Driving loop
There are times when you need to tie a loopin the middle of a rope or rope. In this case, you are ideal for riding a hinge. In the middle of the cable, make a loop and twist it twice, but not too much. Then throw it through the cable and pass into the loop formed between the twists:
