How to assemble a roof?

Variety of roofs of modern countrysidehouses is simply amazing. Anyone who has ever been in the areas of private buildings, always paid attention to the extent to which the appearance and style of the whole structure affects his "headdress". But no matter how complex the form of the roof, it is always based on a rafter system, thanks to which it is possible to assemble the roof of a house of an absolutely unique design.

Types of roofs

However, before proceeding to assemble the roof,it is necessary to determine what kind of type it will best correspond to one or another structure and requests for its appearance and functionality. Constructively distinguish the following types of roofs:

• One-pitched roof with a slope to one side. Most often used to cover household buildings, terraces or verandas.
• The gable roof has two inclined surfaces and two gables. It is most common due to the ease of installation.
• The four-story roof consists of twoTrapezoidal surfaces and a pair of triangular rays - hips. If the triangular slopes have incomplete height, then such a design will be called semi-capital.
• The roofed tent roof structure represents several triangles converging at the top, and its installation is rather complicated.
• Yendovaya is the most complicated variant of the roof, used mainly for the construction of residential attics.

How to assemble a roof

Having defined the type of roof, you can begin assembling it. So, at the first stage you need to

perform installation around the perimeter of the wallsthe building of the so-called Mauerlat - the supporting beam, which will serve as the basis for the rafters' system. To the walls it is bolted, after which the rafter system is erected. To build it, you need a board with a section of 50 × 150 mm or a bar. In addition, bars and planks of different cross-sections will be required, with which bolts, spacers, struts and other connecting units will be installed.
