Hunger
Probably, very few of us know how many daysa person can live without food if he is lost in the forest? Of course, this largely depends on the individual characteristics of the organism. In conditions of hunger, a person spends his internal reserves, and can do it without much harm - attention! - up to forty days (of course, with sufficient fluid intake). Famine cases were reported up to 80 days. Only then do irreversible processes occur in the human body. So if there is no food (in its complete absence), do not panic. Without food, you can manage at least a month. A sense of hunger will help to overcome by soaking in a large enough (up to 500 ml) of water.

For birds, it is best to install snares, catch fish with a hook with a hook or an improvised mesh. In addition, you must have at least some knife or his likeness to gut and clean the caught. Since few people are able to eat, for example, raw fish, you will also have to build a fire and cook a catch.

It is advisable only to be trained beforehand in order to learn to recognize edible. The same applies to mushrooms, which in summer and autumn in the forest quite a lot. All this can be consumed in raw form, and it is possible, for example, to weld a mushroom broth - this will be more satisfying and tasty. The stems and roots of some plants, for example, the strelolist, are also used for food. Larvae and pupae of insects, worms, snails, although not related to plant foods, can also be used successfully as a meal. The main thing is to overcome the feeling of disgust. A special delicacy is considered to be ant eggs (that is, pupae) that are very caloric and even tasty. They are in the anthills at the very surface and look like small rice grains. In order to get them, you need to find an anthill, spread a piece of cloth a meter to a meter by tucking the edges. Remove the top of the anthill and spread it around the perimeter with a thin layer. In half an hour, the ants will drag all the pupae to the edge of the tissue, saving them from the sun.
Water
This is the most important product for life. It should always be remembered that without water a person (and even then - well prepared) can do only three to five days. Therefore it is so necessary, if the water is over, to find it as soon as possible. It's good to have a lake, a river, a spring nearby. Then the problem is solved right away. If not, you can try to collect dew. To do this, the trunk of the tree must be wrapped around with a cloth or cloth. The dew formed on the tree will condense there. In the morning, squeeze out the tissue - there will be some water. You can use rainwater. For this, in the soil dig a hole and overlay it with waterproof material or leaves. Rainwater is collected there and it can also be used. How to get water, read more How to survive in the forest.
Remember that for normallife a person needs up to two liters of water per day (in extreme cases - a liter). This is the minimum dose that you must collect in any way. After the water is collected, it is desirable to boil it (if you have the opportunity to build a fire). More about the rules of behavior in the forest, see the article Rules of conduct in the forest.
