How does photosynthesis occur?

After absorption, chlorophyll is found inexcited state and transfers energy to other molecules of the plant organism, especially those that are directly involved in photosynthesis. The second stage of the process of photosynthesis is already without the obligatory participation of light and consists in obtaining a chemical bond with the participation of carbon dioxide, obtained from air and water. At this stage, various substances useful for vital activity, such as starch and glucose, are synthesized.

These organic substances are used byplants to feed its various parts, as well as to maintain normal life. In addition, these substances are also produced by animals, feeding on plants. People also get these substances, eating foods of animal and vegetable origin.

Conditions for photosynthesis

Photosynthesis can occur both under the action ofartificial light, and solar. As a rule, on the nature of plants intensively "work" in the spring-summer period, when there is a lot of sunlight. In autumn there is less light, the day is shortened, the leaves first turn yellow, and then fall off. But it is necessary to appear the spring warm sun, as the green foliage reappears and the green "factories" will resume their work again to give the oxygen necessary for life, as well as many other nutrients.
