Unlike the carburetor, the injector is equipped with an electronic control unit that monitors the process of supply and distribution of fuel.

It should be noted that the installation of thisequipment is a rather laborious process that will take at least 3-4 days. In addition, it is necessary to know what an injector is and to understand the structure of the car well, so as not to break anything.

How to connect the injector to the car?

Before installation on a vehicleit is necessary to check the injector and make sure it is working. There are various modifications of these devices, which are equipped with an oxygen sensor, absorber and have phased or simultaneous injection.

The process of installing and connecting the injector:

1. To begin with, it is necessary to remove the carburettor fuel system and then replace it with an injector fuel system;
2. After that, install the fuel pump and filter;
3. Now we pass under the hood and remove the old ignition system (gasoline pump, ram, coil, etc.)
4. Disconnect all wiring from the sensors on the engine;
5. We change the tee of the cooling system of the end of the head to the injector (it is equipped with a hole for the temperature sensor and heating of the throttle);
6. We install a special stub of the KVA to the place of the trambler;
7. We put new injectors and an inlet manifold;
8. After that, we connect the fuel system and connect the computer with the sensors of the engine;
9. We make replacement of a pulley коленвала and we establish ЭБУ;
10. Now you need to install the ignition module, the knock sensor and put back the air filter;
11. We connect the wires from the computer to the dashboard;
12. We connect the computer to the fuel pump and check the operation of the system.
