How to connect microlab?

Microlab 5.1 is, in essence, not just a column, but an entire speaker system consisting of one main subwoofer column and five auxiliary columns. Connect them to a computer is not as easy as an ordinary pair of speakers, but still easy. In this article, I'll show you how to connect the Microlab 5.1 speakers to a PC.

We need

To connect the speakers we need absolutelya bit - the system itself and three cable types: two tulips on one side and a 3.5 mm jack on the other. As a rule, they can be found in the box along with the columns.

Connectivity

As we said above, we have six columns- the main subwoofer, 2 front speakers (FrontLeft and FrontRight), 2 rear (SurroundLeft / SurroundRight) and one center (Center). These names are written on the columns, they will help you correctly position the system. Now, in fact, let's move on to the connection.

  1. Turn off the computer.
  2. We find the sound card in the system unit, and on it the jack connectors are L / R front, Center and L / R surrounded - as a rule, they are green, orange and black jacks respectively.
  3. So, before us are three connectors and six columns, and therefore, as you probably already guessed, you need to pair them together.
  4. We take each bifurcated "tulip" one by one and connect the speakers first in pairs, and then perform the connection with the corresponding jack of the sound card.

That, in fact, that's all! The main thing is not to get anything mixed.
