1. We connect iPhone to the PC and wait until iTunes opens.
2. We click on the "File" tab, then "Add file to the library ...". In the window that appears, select any media file stored on the computer, click "Open".

An important point! The file installed on the call should not be longer than 38 seconds, and therefore, most likely, it will have to be trimmed (it's very easy to do it with iTunes).

1. Right-click on the open file, select "Information" in the drop-down menu. In the window that appears, select the "Options" tab, set the start time for the melody and stop, click "OK".
2. The file has been truncated only virtually. Click on it with the right button, select the item "Create version in AAC format". Now we have got two files - the original melody and a new short composition.
3. We click on the short file with the right button,select "Show in Windows Explorer". Now our task is to change the file resolution. The created file has the resolution of m4a, change it to m4r and drag it back to iTunes.
4. Next, go to the "Sounds" tab in iTunes, synchronize your computer and iPhone.
5. Take your iPhone, go through the path Settings / Sounds / Ringtone and here, if done correctly, we find the coveted track. Click on it and now it will sound when you call.
