hand protection gloves;
a set of spanners or carabiners for 8, 13, 19;
a key with a ratchet and heads on 8, 13 and 19;
extension cord with collar;
a hammer;
pliers and flat screwdriver (may not be needed, but still better to cook);
A permanent marker for marking the wires so as not to confuse their location during assembly.

Sequence of actions when dismantling the generator

If the engine is dirty, before starting the dismantling it is necessary to clean all the generator fasteners with a metal brush and wipe with rags.
Be sure to de-energize the vehicle and remove the battery terminals battery.
Then loosen and remove the tensionerbelt drive. To do this, using a key on 19, rotate the stem nut clockwise until the belt is completely loosened. Then unscrew the lower bolt of the rod and remove it. Remove the belt from the generator drive by hand or with a screwdriver.
Before changing the generator it is necessarydisconnect all wires. We disconnect a plug with a wire of a pad of preliminary excitation of the generator which fastens by means of a plastic latch to a back end face. We unscrew the upper nut of the generator mounting. In order to break the nut from the place, it is necessary to use the collar. After the nut is loosened, we unscrew it with a ratchet. In order to remove the fixing bolt, it is enough to tap it gently with a hammer. Completely remove the bolt is not necessary.

To install a new generator, repeat the above steps in the reverse order.
Before replacing the generator with a new one,it is recommended that the upper mounting bolt be installed in the same way as the lower bolt to the rear of the car. In some cases, the upper bolt can not be completely removed and it can be cut with subsequent replacement with a new one.
