For convenience of the consumer antifreezes have a different coloring - red, blue, yellow, green. The liquid of a certain chemical composition has its own color. For example, the basis of red antifreeze is acid, and green and blue - silicates (salts). Therefore, the question arises: can antifreeze be mixed?

Can I mix different antifreezes

Simply add distilled water. But it should be remembered that if the life of the antifreeze is equal to five years, then adding water, you reduce it for one year. That is, a complete replacement of the coolant will have to be made in 4 years.
