How to learn to skateboard?

Almost every person in his life paysattention to any sport. Physical exercise helps keep the body in good shape, and health is in order. Also, attention to the sport helps to properly distribute your time, and still feel the taste of adrenaline. Today we will tell you how to learn how to ride a skateboard.

Help Beginners

  1. Buy a skateboard in a sporting goods store or borrow from a more experienced friend. If you do not like skateboarding, you will save your money.
  2. Customize the board for the beginner's skating. The surface of the skate should be even.
  3. Choose special shoes. The sole should be flat: ordinary sneakers with a raised sole for training will not work.
  4. Get a protection and a helmet.
  5. When your outfit is ready, the next step -search for a place for skiing. It is necessary to find smooth and even surfaces of concrete or asphalt. Beginners can practice riding lessons in car parks or in local recreation parks.
  6. First, learn the basics of skiing. First of all, you need to learn how to stand on the board. The main condition is that the board does not slip. Stand on the skateboard and try to hold the balance. If the right leg is located behind the left, then push off with your right foot, and ride on the left side and vice versa.
  7. Then try to push off. Do not make mistakes of beginners, when for a push they make short, but frequent movements. Try to make a couple of strong jerks so that you rush forward. Balance with this movement will be easier to maintain.
  8. When you start moving, return the repulsive leg back to the board, with your knees bent and your back straight.
  9. Next, you need to learn the twists and turns. Depending on the side of the turn, transfer the weight of the body forward or backward and direct the part of the skate to the desired direction.
  10. Now we are training the stop. For the beginner, the most optimal way is to gradually stop. It is carried out by braking one foot on the surface. The second way of braking is to transfer the weight to the back of the skate so that the braking comes on it. But for this you must have a good skateboard, so that such a braking plan does not disable the board.
