Most often, the word "Armageddon" is used inthe meaning of an incredible cataclysm that threatens to violate order or ruin. But in the Bible you can find different explanations of what Armageddon is. In the first version, Armageddon is the place where the battle will take place. In the translation from the Hebrew Arma-Maggido means "Meggido Mountain". In reality, such a mountain does not exist, but there is a city called Meggido, which for a long time was a "tasty" piece for the rulers of the eastern states. And here more than once there were bloody battles.
The second variant of the interpretation of the word "Armageddon" is the decisive battle between God and Satan. In this case, Armageddon is regarded as the end of the sinful world and the beginning of a new life.
