It is desirable to prepare the threads in advance - twist them into a bundle. Then they will be much better wrapped on a cardboard blank. In addition, all the work will go much faster.
5. Completely wrap the cardboard circle, cut the thread and tie it.
6. To get a lush and beautiful pompom,It is necessary to continue wrapping the resulting workpiece, but already with a whole bundle of threads. To do this, take 4-5 lengths of 1-3 m, connect them and proceed to wrap the mug. Thread the thread through the hole in it with your hands. If this is uncomfortable, use a conventional crochet hook.
7. Continue to wind the cardboard blank until the hole in it is completely closed with threads.
8. At the next step, you need to take the scissors and cut the threads along the billet. Do this as neatly as possible so that you do not have to trim the pompom at the edges.
9. Carefully move the mugs apart, and thread the thread between them and securely fix the cut threads.
