How to sew curtains with your own hands?

If you decide to sew the curtains yourself, then start withstyle. Choose it, based on the interior of the room or kitchen, in which they will hang. Then determine the length of the strings. I recommend the distance between the strings to choose no more than fifty centimeters. To determine the length of the strings, divide the width of the finished curtain in half and add two centimeters to the hem of the fabric. Select the width arbitrarily and add two centimeters to the tissue fold. Fold the fabric with the wrong side up and stitch it. When sewing the edges do not forget to leave a free space so that the fabric can be turned. Press the seam, gently tuck the remaining edges and sew by hand with a hidden seam, once again iron. Tie is ready.

Let's proceed to the curtains themselves. Fold the bottom edge of the curtains 10 centimeters and press the edge. Sew it. Also process the edges. Top the edge by 2 centimeters, iron and make a seam. In order not to collect the fabric manually, buy a special tape in the sewing accessories store, you can pick it up to the desired width and just sew it to the finished curtain.

Do in the middle of the finished curtains a belt loops from a thin satin ribbon or cord or nail to the walls special hooks, which will hold the strings.
