Respect is the recognition that otherspeople have merits and merits. It is thanks to this feeling that communication between people becomes comfortable. It helps us to find in others something good, worthy if not admiration, then recognition. Respect provides protection from deliberate harm to others. This feeling builds the right relationship in any team: at work, in the family, the company.
In addition, respect is understood and howrespectful attitude towards someone or anything. Everyone in their childhood was taught to respect the elders, that is, treat them with special respect, not as equals, but as people with great experience, as if they were senior in rank.
To express a man his respect, it is enough to treat him without neglect, to listen, not to hurt his feelings, not to sneer, politely talk with him, not to hurt his honor, etc.

It should be noted that respect should not necessarily be associated with sympathy. You can respect even your enemy - for some qualities or the deed committed by him.
Respect in Psychiatry
In psychiatry, a sense of respect implies thatthe doctor is attentive to the problems of the patient, realizing that, from his point of view, this is indeed a problem. The fundamental principle when working with such people is the inviolability of the person.
Respect in social work
Probably, for the social worker respect -most important when dealing with people. For these people this word has a special meaning. It implies that any person is worthy of respect. Neither his character, nor his way of life, nor his social status, can deprive him of the right to respect.
Respect in the legal sphere
The right to distinguish respect for publicsovereignty and individual identity. The first implies the recognition by other states of the right to independence, equality, sovereignty, choice of a vector of development, both in their country and at the international level.
