Many users who first encounterBIN files, there are problems with opening them. This is not surprising, since this format is used in a number of cases. Having studied their list, you can select the necessary program and open the desired bin file.

Using the BIN format

BIN files are binary, which makes them particularly useful for use as:

  • disk images (as in the case of ISO);
  • video files;
  • BIOS images;
  • images of games;
  • firmware files for routers, scanners and other equipment;
  • executables to run programs.

With certain skills, any of thesefiles can be opened, modified, or used for their intended purpose (for example, updating devices) using special programs. In everyday work, the user often has to deal with bin video files and disk images.

Video in BIN

The raw information saved from the DVD is often stored in BIN files. Open them allow:

  • MPlayer;
  • VLC Media Player.

Disk images in BIN

The BIN image files are opened by the following programs:

  • UltraISO;
  • Daemon Tools.
