How do I create a recovery point?

Recovery points in the Windows operating system are created automatically every 24 hours or before installing some drivers and programs that do not have a digital signature.
Windows XP
- Right-click on the desktop and select the "Properties" item.
- In it, select the item "System Restore".
- We turn on the "Observations" state of the disk on thewhich installed the operating system. By default, Windows reserves for all recovery points 12% of the disk space. In the window called "Options" you can increase the size of the disk space with the slider, where the recovery points will be stored. In this case, storing old pictures of the system will be long and you will have the opportunity to "roll back" to them at any time. You need to be aware that restoring Windows affects only the most important system files. Your personal data on this disk will be lost in case of rollback. If you want, you can include the same "Observation" behind other disks of your system. To do this, click on the desired disk with the mouse, then click the "Options" button and remove the check box next to "Disable System Restore".
- Suppose you want to restore the previous state of the system. Here's how to create a restore point:

- Select the "Create recovery point" item in the "System Restore" window and click the "Next" button.
