Parable of peace of mind
How often do we take offense instead ofto react calmly! But it's enough to reconcile with what is difficult and sometimes impossible to please everyone around, admit your mistakes, if any, or ignore the evil and stupid person grieving you for no apparent reason. The parable of peace of mind will help you to find harmony and peace in your soul, regardless of resentment and misunderstanding of others.
Master told: "In my youth, I often went alone to the lake and meditated. I had a small boat, and for hours I could swim and reflect. One day at dawn, when the night slowly turned into morning, I sat with my eyes closed and meditated.
Suddenly someone's boat hit my and brokeall this morning harmony. How angry I was! I was about to scold the owner of the boat, but I opened my eyes and saw that the boat was empty. I had no one to throw my anger out. So I just closed my eyes and tried to regain harmony in myself.
When the sun came up, I found peace in myself. The empty boat became my teacher. Since then, if someone tries to offend me, I just say to myself:
"And this boat is empty too."
