Have you been looking forward to your vacation for a long time? We bought a ticket in advance and were already looking forward to enjoying your legal rest, but when you were at a resort in hot countries, you realized that everything was not as good as it seemed in the pictures presented to your travel agencies? If the rest is spoiled, is it possible to return the money for the tour? Let's try to understand this question.

Collect evidence

First of all, you will have to directlyto communicate with the tour operator. It is recommended that you file a written claim with all the evidence collected by you. In this case, the tour operator must notify the tour insurer about the current conflict situation, so that in the future, the companies act together. If in a kind of "internal investigation" your case is recognized as insurance, and you are satisfied with the amount of payment, then within thirty days you can receive compensation. Money can be taken from insurers, or directly from the tour operator.

If you are refused compensation, one thing remains- to sue. Only here "loss of profit" and moral damage insurance will not refund you, and on these points you will need to register in the statement of claim separately.

Leave broke

Now consider another question - how to returnmoney for a ticket, if your vacation for one reason or another broke? Sometimes there are situations when you already paid for the trip, but so it did not go to it. In this case, it all depends on the terms of the agreement with the travel agency, where the possible terms of refusal should be prescribed. The reason for not leaving is also important, in some firms you can get money back for a hotel and a transfer if they are not paid yet, and in others they can refuse to pay at all.

For such cases, some travel agencies offertravel insurance. You can pay for them from three to eight percent of the cost of the tour. If you have such insurance, you can receive a refund in the following cases:

  • illness or death of the tourist or his relatives;
  • refusal of a visa or delaying the timing of its receipt;
  • a summons to the court, if at the time of registration of the policy, the probability of such a call was not known to you;
  • emergency situations that led to significant damage and affected the financial situation of the tourist - fire, apartment robbery and much more;
  • early return of the insured tourist from a trip in the event of the death or sudden death of someone from close relatives.

As you understand, a refund for a ticket is possible, however, we hope that when your holiday breaks down, they will bypass you.
