Dali is a native of Spain. He was born in 1904 on May 11 in the city of Figueres. The family of young Salvador was very wealthy. Father worked as a notary, and thanks to his money young Salvador Dali managed to enter the academy of San Fernando, which is in Madrid. However, it should be noted that already in his youth, Salvador gave great hopes, his work was perceived by the teachers as something original and unique. Undoubtedly, his talent also became a ticket to the prestigious academy.
However, the stay of young El Salvador in thisacademy turns out to be short-lived: it is literally put up for bad behavior. But this does not stop Salvador, and he continues to create. Moving to Paris, he meets Pablo Picasso. Then she meets Elena Dmitrievna Dyakonova, who in the future becomes his wife.
Early life: moving to the USA
In 1937, the famous artist goes toItaly, to get a closer look at the works of the Renaissance. However, the Second World War is approaching, and Salvador Dali understands that in Europe it can be unsafe. Together with his wife Elena, also known as Gala, he goes to the United States. There, the artist makes an attempt to write an autobiography entitled "The Secret Life of Salvador Dali." Let us note that literary experiments prove to be successful. Later, the artist begins to collaborate with Walt Disney. Then Dali uses his talent to work in the film industry.
Maturity and the elderly
Later Salvador Dali returned to Spain living in his native Catalonia. In 1965, the artist goes to Paris and conquers this city again.
The last years of Dali's life take place in the castle Pubol (Spain). After the fire in the castle, Dali manages to survive, and he will stay till the end of his days in the theater museum, which is also in Catalonia.
