How to reboot Skype?

Reloading Skype may be required if the user changes, hangs up the program or wants to update it.

Change user

A Skype program installed on a home or work computer can be used by several users.

To change the user in skype, it is enough to press the "exit" button in the opened window after opening the program. Then, in a small window, enter your personal login and password.

Skype "freezes"

If Skype needs to be restarted because the program hangs up, just press three ALT + CTRL + DEL buttons, enter the task manager and select the "Delete task" item in the appeared window.

Program update

For the full-fledged work of the program, it must be periodically updated. For this, in this program there is the possibility of both automatic updating and manual.

To configure automatic updates,you need to open the "Tools" tab - "Settings" - "Advanced" - "Enable automatic updating" in the Skype window. As a result, the program will be automatically updated if necessary.

To update in manual mode, go to the "Help" (or some versions of "Skype") in the program menu, select the item "Check for updates".
