Under the pressure of economic crises under conditionsthe globalization of markets, many states are transforming their labor principles in order to withstand the tough competition of international markets. Many people follow the path of extensive growth and give an opportunity, but somewhere they make people work harder. One of the most industrious states was Japan, whose corporatism of the decade rests on the reference level; where people live at work and at work die.

Benedetta Ristori dedicated this photo project to the themenight recycling in Japan: people who are in the country of the rising sun remain in service long after sunset, and the conditions in which these people remain. The unifying theme of all scenes was loneliness and a sense of timelessness with a strong shift of social biorhythms.
