Many housewives, who are just beginning theirfamiliarity with olive oil, do not know whether it can be used for frying. To correctly answer this question, we should briefly tell that olive oil is different: Virgin, Extra Virgin, Refined, 100% Pure and Pomace.

The first two types are oils of "direct"pressing. That is, when they are produced, all sorts of cleaning methods are not used. In turn, olive oil labeled "Refined" is made from a mixture of refined olive oil and "direct" spin oil. The mention of "100% Pure" indicates that the oil is completely refined. As for products marked "Pomace", they differ from other varieties of oil in that they are used not for olives themselves, but for olive oil cake.
