How to grow bamboo?
Few people know how to grow bamboo (another name is dracene), while avoiding gross mistakes. This can be done in two ways: in soil and in water. Let us consider them in more detail.
Cultivation in soil
To grow bamboo in the soil, follow the following instructions:
- At the bottom of the selected plant pot, pour small stones or expanded clay - they serve as drainage, so that stagnation of water does not lead to rotting of the roots.
- Fill the pot with soil. Bamboo is suitable for any flower or special for Drazen mixture. To create the most natural natural conditions, mix the soil halfway with sand.
- Lower the plant roots in the soil and sprinkle them so that the bamboo is firmly in the pot.
- In the early days, water the bamboo abundantly. Its root system is still weak and requires a lot of moisture. When the plant gets stronger, it will need standard care: regular watering in summer and moderate in winter. In the cold season, water the bamboo only as the soil dries up in the pot.
Cultivation in water
Many people are interested in the question of how to growbamboo in the water, because it is in a transparent vase that it looks most effective. Bamboo is very fond of moisture, so it will be wonderful to feel even in a glass of water. The main thing is not to forget to change it regularly.
After 1.5-2 weeks in the water appearsflowering, as well as a large number of bacteria and microbes. Water at the bamboo should always be clean, better distilled, at room temperature. Change it once a week, otherwise the plant will slowly, but surely die: first the yellow stalk, and then the root system will rot. Do not forget to add special mineral fertilizers to the water for growth.
Temperature Regardless of Methodcultivation ranges from 15 to 30 degrees. Bamboo well tolerates dry air, so it should not be sprayed, but periodically you need to wipe the leaves from the dust.
If you decide to grow bamboo, choose a suitable place for him without direct sunlight. Give preference to scattered light.
